In July 2018, my wife and I moved to Austin from Tampa, Florida, where I had been deeply involved in the music and arts community for over twenty years. I led two musical ensembles, composed music for local art houses and film/video production studios, and worked closely with music educators in local schools.
In May 2021, we relocated to Oakland, California, where I served as Adjunct Instructor at SAE Expression College. As of March 2024, we’ve made Portland, Oregon our home.
Over the last decade, I’ve taught students of all ages and abilities, including individuals with disabilities through VSA Florida and Allrhythms. These experiences have shaped my approach to teaching — I prioritize patience, adaptability, and a personalized curriculum that supports each student’s goals and learning style.
